I build websites for small businesses, then I keep them working.

You deal with me from the first phone call to launch day, and after. The price is agreed in writing before I start, and your domain is registered in your name, not mine.

A page for each of their capabilities, a photo and video gallery, a blog their team posts to on their own, and a quote form that emails sales directly.

Sample build

Northgate Roofing & Exteriors

Not a real company

I built this to show owners of service businesses what a one-page site could look like for them. Services up top, before-and-after photos, and a quote form that's easy to find on a phone.

How a project goes

  1. Day 1

    A phone call

You tell me what the business does and what the site needs to do. There's no charge for this.

  2. A few days later

    Your proposal

Scope, price and timeline, on paper. Nothing starts until you sign it and pay the first half.

  3. About 3 weeks

    The build

The clock starts when I have your photos and details. You get a private draft link and two rounds of changes.

  4. Launch

    It goes live

The site goes up on your domain. Once the second half is paid, it's yours. Stay on a monthly plan or take the files.

Monthly plans

Optional. After launch, a plan covers hosting, edits and your Google Business Profile so you don't have to think about them.

Who you'll be dealing with

I’m Steven Schuliger. SGS Web Group is my business, and I do the work myself. The person who picks up when you call is the same person building your site, and the one making changes to it a year from now.

My background is in sales, so I care less about whether a site looks clever and more about whether it gets people to call you.

I only take on a few projects at a time.

Questions people ask

Something else on your mind? Call or text and ask me directly.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what you need, so every project gets its own quote after a short call. The price is fixed and in writing before any work starts, with half due to begin and half at launch.

How long does it take?

About three weeks, counted from the day I have your photos and details. Waiting on content is what usually slows a website down, not the building.

I don't have photos or a logo. Is that a problem?

No. Phone photos work, and I'll tell you what to shoot. What I won't do is fill your site with stock photos of someone else's business.

Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?

No. Your domain is in your name and the finished site is yours. If you'd rather not have a plan, I'll hand over the files and help you move the site.

What is a Google Business Profile?

It's the listing with your hours, reviews and map pin that appears when people search for your business on Google or Google Maps. It's often the first thing a customer sees, before they ever visit your website.

Can you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Google decides rankings. What I can do is set up your website and listing properly and keep them active, which makes you easier to find.

Do you only work with local businesses?

No. I work with businesses anywhere. Phone calls and screen shares handle almost everything.

Tell me about your business

A few sentences is plenty.

  2. We set up a short call.
  3. If it's a good fit, you get a written proposal.
